Burgas Airport is closed

Bulgarian Interior Minister Tsvetan Tsvetanov, Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikolay Mladenov and the Minister of Health Desislava Atanasova are on their way to the city of Burgas where the incident with a bus took place earlier

The incident occurred at the parking lot in front of the arrivals’ terminal at the Burgas Airport, the alert was received today at around 17.30 p.m. According to initial information, three people have died in the blast on a bus. There are also injured people, they are transported to a hospital in Burgas.

Burgas Airport is closed, all flights are redirected to Varna Airport.
